I am a research assistant in the Computer Science Department, at the University of Hagen. My work is centered around the development of natural language interfaces to distributed multimedia databases and semantically oriented information retrieval.

Projects

• BenToWeb (EU project) Our project part aims at automatically measuring text readability (2004-2007).
• Virtual Knowledge Factory. This is a project of the German Federal State of Nordrhein-Westfalen. It financed my research on NatLink (natural language interface to knowledge bases) till 1999.

• Neuschreiber (converter for the new German orthography)
• SciClust: a lean load balancer for UNIX
• SRFI-19 and SRFI-33 implementations for bigloo Scheme
• scheme_wish: A portable interface between Scheme and Tcl/Tk (Scheme source file including some documentation). Version 0.1 (1998-04-26)
